OPS! Pois Bracelet

     This bracelet is a new addition to my collection and I have to say it is cute. I don't use the word cute too much, it's a little soft for me, but I feel it embodies this purple, chunky, statement bracelet. OPS Objects' Bruni Oltremare contacted me ages to see if I would be interested in featuring this and I have to apologise for the slow response (exam time is upon us again). Their website  https://www.brunioltremare.com is filled with lots of collections in this friendly bold style including earrings, necklaces, rings and watches. Most of these products are made of this light silicone which is easy to slip on and adds a playful look to an outfit.
     I would suggest either thoroughly loading up lots of bracelets with this or just having it swinging on its own as the charms with the engravings on are quite big and hang down the wrist. What I also love about this is it's infused with strawberry scent, which brings back memories of scented pencils and days out when I was younger. Black Matte Topshop Purse

     I took a trip to Oxford Street on Wednesday and I always love the Topshop there because its the first stop right opposite the tube station and it is literally huge! 4 floors and hundreds of racks of bliss. I also bought a shirt with a floral cutout which I will post at some point and a nail varnish in 'Sea Mist'. I love their nail collection because the polish is such good quality and they have massive variety in colour and texture.
     With all this shopping, I realised how dog-eared and worn out my old studded, gold River Island purse was so I took a look at the Topshop range and they have some lovely ones. I like to have a classy purse that I can feel comfortable pulling out anywhere as its always embarrassing when you have a tacky, old or damaged one! I might have been swayed towards the black and white houndstooth print one if only I hadn't been wearing matching leggings that day - a girl couldn't possibly clash.

Accessorize Tokyo Beads and Charms Necklace

For a  while now, I've been one of those people who has their one special necklace and will literally wear that constantly, unless obviously I'm going out or need some bolder accessories. These necklaces have changed around (usually when I've lost them or they've broken) and seem to always be in the shape of hearts. My current one is again a heart with 24 fake diamonds, a present from my dad that I love so much that I got a new chain from Ernest Jones last weekend.
However, that's not what I'm sharing with you today! This statement necklace is a recent purchase from Accessorize and I love how subtly bold it is, with all the beads and charms being eye-catching but delicate. It has a double chain with a length that sits a bit longer than I first thought, at 60cm but looks great layered up with a jumper or clashing top.
This oriental themed necklace is called the 'Tokyo Bead Necklace,' and is priced at £15 which I think is a great price for a well made piece of jewellery and standard Accessorize pricing. I took this photo at the same time as my turquoise earrings but think this is more of a sophisticated look for this piece than the one I have been going for with jumpers and leggings for a more casual, fun look.

Accessorize Turquoise Earrings to Welcome Spring

Firstly I feel I should apologise for the lack of posts recently, but for the past two weekends I was suffering with the flu which just knocked me out for ages, but I managed to watch the first 3 series of Waterloo Road on box set so it wasn't all downside. So Happy February to all of you!
So after venturing out to the shops today, I found these gorgeous earrings from Accessorize in a lovely turquoise which is pastelly but bold enough to be more of a statement and stood out when I was browsing. The shape of these is great because whilst they are dangly, they're not too large and don't crowd the face. They also sit really well and hang so they are visible but without sticking out or being too showy.
The detailing on the turquoise and the edging makes them more delicate and wearable than a block of colour that sometimes intimidates the face with bigger earrings.

I am wearing my ever faithful Topshop blazer and my hair is French plaited to the side with a loose, curly bun on top. My ongoing struggle to stay blonde will soon be rectified as my dark roots are breaking through Australia's magic on my hair but my hairdresser will be seeing me soon for a good dye and gossip session!
